    2014 Farm Bill

After 80 years of prohibition, it is again legal for Oregon licensed growers and processors to engage in the hemp economy. On August 9, 2009, the Oregon governor signed SB 676 into law, which permitted the production, trade and possession of industrial hemp commodities and products. The ODA submitted Oregon’s State Hemp Plan to USDA for approval on August 14, 2020 and continues to operate under guidance from the 2014 Farm Bill. As of January 1, 2020, rules for pre-harvest testing have changed from delta9-THC to total THC.
