Sixth-year member Terry’s Health Products is a natural food store with a nearly 40-year tradition of providing the community of greater Bismarck, North Dakota with more than 5000 items to support a healthy lifestyle, including vitamins, supplements, chemical-free personal care products, essential oils, bulk, natural and healthy groceries, and—since 2018—Peace Garden Hemp’s unique selection of Full and Broad Spectrum CBD, CBG, and CBN products. The shop has won Bismarck’s Best of the Best Health and Natural Products store 6 years in a row.

In 2017, Terry’s Health Products and owner Lonna Brooks became central to the fight for legal hemp cannabinoids when the DEA confiscated their products, triggering a lawsuit from the HIA and other hemp industry plaintiffs. The end result of was a negotiated settlement that saw Lonna’s products returned and the DEA’s acknowledgement that CBD is not under their authority, paving the way for today’s CBD industry to flourish. In this video, Lonna discusses that incident and reflects on the crippling impacts of DEA overreach on small businesses.

Also starting the sixth year of HIA membership, 707 Flora is a California-based manufacturer of boutique, CBD-infused beauty and skin care products. As seen on QVC, 707 Flora ‘s in demand products utilize a proprietary fusion of high-performance hemp cannabinoids, micro algaes, and superior skin care actives.

Now in their third year of HIA membership, Power Biopharms is a vertically integrated manufacturer of hemp-derived cannabinoid products that is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. Offering Texas-grown craft hemp flower,  gummies, tinctures, topicals, capsules, pet care products, and more.

 

Vaporfi Mirimar, returning for a second year of membership, is a brick and mortar vape shop located in Mirimar, Florida that offers a wide selection of vape, kratom, e-cig, and hemp-derived cannabinoid products, in person or online.

 

Hemp Industries Association is a nonprofit, member-led, democratic trade association for organizations committed to building a sustainable, equitable, and thriving hemp industry.
